_{I thought it was about time for a new journal. So here's a little update on life.

Rising Stars!

Every year my school, New World School of the Arts has a performance/gallery showing for the students that attend NWSA College and High.

Rising Stars, a professionally staged, energy-packed, one-of-a-kind performance, showcases the extraordinary talented students from New World School of the Arts. Exhilarating excerpts of works performed during the school year by the music, dance and theater division students of NWSA are presented in an unforgettable evening of unparalleled talent from Florida’s premier arts conservatory. Hear the symphony orchestra, scenes from theater and musicals, modern dance and ballet and more in a diverse and dynamic performance you won’t soon forget.

They also have a gallery showing in the gallery that's located in the lobby of my school. This year they allowed submissions from and students to be reviewed and then later chosen to be shown. I was lucky enough to be one of those students to be selected. One of my 3D pieces will be shown at the gallery for Rising Stars, I don't have it here on DA since I haven't been able to photograph it but I'll try to get a photo of it up.

Anyway, I'm very proud of the fact that my piece was selected. I've never had a piece shown in a gallery. So I'm happy and excited about that. :]

Other Things

Erm. Other things in life.. Well I finally got my business cards and I have a few commissions already. :]

I'm moving. Yet again. It seems like we move every year. I'm never in one place long enough to call it home. We're moving at the end of the month, in the same apartment building but to a one bedroom apartment on a different floor. Four people one bedroom.. We'll see how that turns out.

Turns out that my family in Chile are alright after the earthquake. Everyone was just bit shaken up, but everyones fine, just some damage to houses and what not. Which I'm really happy about.

Hmm What else.. Oh well I've made a Tumblr account. And well I've finally update my Xanga which I haven't been on in for ever. I think I'll do the same with my LiveJournal account..
