I love the reflection on the raindrop. The poem that go along with it personified the subject. The colour is very atumn like - the melancholy season. Even without using rule of third or golden section, you created focal point using shallow depth of field to focus only in the rain drop. Nice piece of work .
Haha yes, Macro filters work great for me. I really want to buy a macro lens but sense I can't afford one I decided to buy these macro filters which were only about $15 for a set. I wasn't sure how good they were, but i bought them anyway. And I'm real happy I did. They were great in combination. Of course they don't work as well as the lens would but for the price it can't be beat.
Hm... at your question, I think I do love the T1i, that's for sure except maybe one little thing...to have only a back screen to read the infos when I take my shot - I'd love to have something beside or on the top when I get into little tricky corners of the forest and I can't see what I am doing... But otherwise, this is a superb camera.
I think I'm going to get these Macro filters, I must get them, I must !!!! Looking at what you're doing with it !!! I MUST !! Until I get my 100 mm fix lens... and $15 for a set ??? You know what ?... While I was writing my response to you, I made a quick call to the store... I have waited long enough... This is going to be so much fun for little money ! Thanks !!!!
WEll I don't have that problem with my camera. Since I live in Miami there are no forests to wander off to and take pictures. There's not place to go, so having it all on the back screen isn't a problem for me at all.
And you should totally get the macro filters. They are really worth it for the price. I'm real happy with it, though I'm dying to buy a lens
Hello MutilatedAudio... What an original nick ! Hm... I was thinking going this weekend, but I guess I'm having always such a hard time to get out in the city... I don't like shopping, I don't like traffic,... and writing this, I am wondering if I couldn't find it on the net... in CAD... to avoid high shipping cost... that would be a ton times better, although I am not sure about what exactly I need to get... (that's why I wanted to get out - Last weekend I called they didn't have it at the store close to home..)
But for the weather, I guess I would go along with your feeling, I could I survive hot weather, me in need of snow, as an absolute must ? I wouldn't and beside...you have few storms once in a while I would fear somehow... I prefer snow storm big time!!!
Anyhow, I'll keep you posted on the outcome for sure ! Meantime take care !!!
